    **Calibur - A Burger Lover's Paradise** Nestled in a prime location with a whole block dedicated to food, Calibur is where true burger enthusiasts come to indulge. As soon as we walked in, we knew this spot meant business. No need for flashy decor--the menu is the star here. Grass-fed, grass-finished beef, topped with real cheese, is what sets these burgers apart. I went all in with two doubles, one with bacon, and they barely lasted five minutes. Every bite was pure bliss. The service was on point, too--after my purchase, they let me in on the secret bathroom in the back, which is a lifesaver in a city like San Francisco. My wife's already planning our return for the French fries fried in oil, which we didn't get to try this time. If you're a burger aficionado, don't skip this spot. Calibur's got the goods!

    So this is what fast food costs you these days. $30 for: * Cheeseburger; * BLT; * Fries (cooked in Tallow, vegans beware); and an * IPA As my order was rung up at the counter I noticed the 25 cent bag charge being added. "Oh, we're eating here" I remarked only to learn that all orders are bagged "to go". In fairness, Calibur has removed all of their indoor seating (I know not why). A couple small tables and a parklet are just outside the door. Still, a tray would be my preference over paying for and wasting a bag. So I sat at a table out front, opened my bag, and ate. About the cheeseburger, here is what was said: "I like In N' Out's better" then "but this is still good". About my BLT, "It's good, if a bit bread-y". And about the fries, of which there was a very large portion served piping hot, "wow, we need more catsup" then "we're not going to finish all of these". Who doesn't finish fries? It's a very generous serving of tasty fries. So the word "good" was bandied around a lot here. I've no burning desire to return but if I were again in the area looking for something quick to order and appear, Caliber would be a decent option.

    What stuck out the most was the service. Such nice folks. The menu is not complicated which I love. We had a cheeseburger with the works, chili cheese fries, and a strawberry and vanilla shake. Burger was good, the chili cheese fries were great! I loved that they serve the chili separate from the fries that way I could add it on gradually to get that good chili soaked fries but not soggy. The shake was thick, super good. My dogs loved it too. They also have a nice parklet.

    I'm glad we stopped by after reading a few reviews and watching people make TikTok's about this place. Their service is amazing - friendly and attentive. They had quite a few seats available outside but we did come after the lunch rush. The fries were okay even with the toppings but the burger was great! I don't like their buns but that's just me. I recommend Calibur to anyone who likes a simple cheeseburger.
